Schooled in Canada and the UK, Darren has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary and extensive experience in manufacturing & logistics in Calgary, Mexico, and China.  In manufacturing, he has worked with varied companies including Nortel and SMART Technologies, and has been a key player in manufacturing and quality process design for many products for those companies and others.

Since 2007, on his evenings and weekends, Darren has been running the volunteer-based musical theatre company Front Row Centre Players.  At FRC, Darren has acted as Producer for a number of popular productions of Broadway shows, such as Urinetown in 2015 and Young Frankenstein in 2014.  Attendees may also recognise that he has often held starring roles, including Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar and Billy Crocker in Anything Goes, both in 2015.

Darren built his first website on Geocities as a teenager, and has continued to build sites as a hobby since then, keeping up with some of the quantum leaps in website design since the days of animated gifs and website counters.  He is pleased to be able to put his skills and experience to work for Stylelabs to create modern, responsive websites and to work with the powerful Samurai engine.
